Playtime: Au Chon Hin (Macau) x Han Wenbin (Shanghai)

"Playtime" explores the transformative power of play in contemporary creation. While "playfulness" often describes engaging styles, play itself serves as a vital pathway to liberating creativity. This exhibition invites viewers to experience a series of playful contemporary works and reflect on how "playtime" fosters innovation and dialogue.
"Carnival" (2024) draws from the visual memories of traditional Chinese outdoor fairs, recombining basic shapes and colors to create imaginative graphics. The series is a creative experiment by artist Au Chon Hin, who utilizes fragmented time to explore new discoveries with a playful mindset.
"Sunbathing" (2020-2023) is a series of illustrations by Shanghai artist Han Wenbin (Haa), who draws inspiration from everyday life to express a relaxed and authentic attitude. Lying down, soaking up the sun, and embracing stillness—can these moments of emptiness become profound nourishment? The artist explores this question in "Sunbathing."
